~Green Leprechaun Smoothie

Quantity for 1 person:

* Green Bell Pepper: 1 Washed cut up
* Spinach leafs washed and cut up: ¼ Cup
* Fresh Ginger chopped: 1 teaspoon
* Fresh lemon juice: ½ teaspoon
* Water: 1 cup
* Hemp Protein Powder: 1 Scoop
* Salt to taste
* Black pepper to taste

*Whirr until smooth.

*You could also substitute broccoli, parsley, etc. for the greens listed above. If you use very fresh vegetables you will have a high vitamin C drink with extra iron that is well absorbed.

*This is a savory smoothie and would make a good light lunch or a liquid “salad” before the meal’s entree. Feel free to add any sea vegetables in place of salt.
