**Recipe: Healthy Cracker Spread
This sounds like a real winner-- it's from Jessica Wild on her "Wild Harvest" Yahoo! newssite (no longer available).
"Thought I'd share the recipe of my favorite cracker spread.
We call it green goop.
It has lots of cilantro and Garlic, natural heavy metal chelators.
My kids think it is so good, I usually make a double batch...
it stays good in the fridge for a week or so.
1/2 cup raw Brazil nuts
1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1 bunch cilantro
1 bulb (six to eight large cloves) garlic (or more to taste)
juice of one lemon or lime
Dulse powder (or sea salt) to taste
Udos oil to texture.
My friend that taught this to me likes it in the food processor and a little "grainy" ...about the texture of Rice.
I like it SMOOTH...so I do it in my vita-mix.
We serve it on Triscuts... ~Jessica Wilde"
