Stir together the following:
2 T. Tamari
1 T. Liquid Smoke
1 T. Raw Agave Syrup
1 T. Water
Pour this over 3 large handfuls of unsweetened dehydrated coconut flakes (or, if you are so fortunate, spread over 'mature' coconut scraped from an actual buko or more mature coconut). Use a fork to make sure all the flakes are covered with the stuff. Let marinate for up to 6 hours. Spread on paraflex sheets and dehydrate until crispy (12-24 hours). Enjoy in a multitude of ways, including as a garnish for salads, and as a sprinkle for BLTs (where the lettuce becomes the actual wrap vs. using bread). Delicious and quite addictive, so beware.

**Recipe: “Raw” Bacoconut Flakes
Sometimes I get a crave for some of the real "baddies" of the fleshpots-- nitrate-stuffed bacon, for example. Obviously others do, as well, and thus people have come up with a number of really amazing recipes to replicate some of these tasty items, and without the nasty side-effects. They are not OPTIMAL foods, though, so remember to eat them as treats on special occasions and not as a daily habit. Hans Diehl, the inspiring founder of the Adventist CHIP program, refers to meat analogues as "bridge [transitional] foods"-- he likes to joke that some people "just never get off the bridge".
